Prince William and Duchess Kate will attend 2017 BAFTA Awards

Date night!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are set to attend the BAFTA Film Awards on February 12.

It's no coincidence the royal couple will make an appearance, as Prince William is president of BAFTA. The two will walk the red carpet and William will present the Fellowship, the highest award given by the Academy. This year's ceremony will take place at the Royal Albert Hall and will be hosted by Stephen Fry.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are fantastic supporters of BAFTA," said BAFTA chief exec Amanda Berry. "We very much look forward to welcoming Their Royal Highnesses at the EE British Academy Film Awards."

Kate and William have had a busy 2017 so far, with the two seemingly ramping up the number of their royal engagements.

They recently joined Prince Harry for an event highlighting their mental health charity Heads Together. At the event, the 35-year-old mother to Prince George and Princess Charlotte made heads turn with a hilarious one-liner aimed at her husband.

Kate also made a solo appearance at a children's hospice, where she revealed to a little girl her true feelings about being a royal.

"Kate said she's very lucky," the 6-year-old kiddo's mother revealed.

The Duchess of Cambridge also gushed about her husband of almost six years, saying "she's very well looked after by her husband."

Of course, the royal couple will stun, per usual, at the BAFTAs in just a couple of weeks. Kate has proved that she's a red carpet pro with her history of flawless styles. Back in November of last year she attended the premiere of "A Street Cat Named Bob" in a stunning Self Portrait white lace gown.
