Jerry O'Connell on 'Live!' co-host gig: 'I'd do anything Kelly asked me to do'

Updated

Jerry O'Connell's wife, Rebecca Romijn, may be the apple of his eye -- but there's another lady who he can't say no to.

Kelly Ripa still hasn't decided on her permanent "Live!" co-host ... but Jerry is definitely interested!

"I'd do anything Kelly [Ripa] asked me to do," the 42-year-old actor said in an exclusive interview with AOL.

The "Stand By Me" actor has appeared as Kelly's guest co-host a handful of times, including the daytime talk show's huge Halloween special. In fact, he revealed a surprising tidbit about Ripa that many would be surprised about.

"Kelly is a really good dancer! She had this whole routine choreographed with other dancers. When I got there I was like -- 'I need to take a hip-hop class because this girl is good!'"

O'Connell recently put his talents to the test as host of America's largest dog show, "The AKC National Championship presented by Royal Canin," on the Hallmark Channel. He joked the only reason he got the job was because of all the selfies he took with his dogs -- but by looks of his adorable Instagram snaps, the comedian may be right!

And even with his busy schedule, he prioritizes time to spend with his ladylove and two eight-year-old girls, Dolly and Charlie. Recently, the family of four went on a tropical getaway in early January to celebrate the new year and the girls' birthdays.

The couple of nearly 10 years showcased their A-list bodies on Instagram, but O'Connell said it's all due to the perfect Instagram filter. Which one you may be wondering?

"We are a Valencia family," he said.

All jokes aside, the actor revealed Rebecca does pilates, while "I go to the gym, order a protein shake and just walk around. Then I sit on a ball for half an hour."

The cute pair has been together for almost a decade, which is a considered lifetime in Hollywood. Of course, we had to get their secret to a lasting marriage.

"Our kids are kind of crazy and if we get divorced we're scared one of us might end up with them," he revealed.
