Caitlyn Jenner's rep responds to claims she's dancing with Donald Trump at inauguration ball

It takes two to tango -- and Caitlyn Jenner and Donald Trump may be doing just that in the near future!

The reality star is set to attend the soon-to-be president's inauguration on Friday and she may be getting some special one-on-one time with Trump.

A Trump administration official claimed the billionaire businessman has been urged to dance with the "I Am Cait" star at his ball to prove he's in touch with America's LGBT community, a group that has spoken out against Trump throughout his journey as president. His administration sees the unexpected move as a way to get more support.

"It's a brilliant idea," a member of the incoming administration told Page Six. "The image of Trump dancing with Caitlyn would send a strong message that he supports gay rights and trans rights."

After news of the possible event blew up on the internet, Jenner's rep responded to the "ridiculous story."

"There have been no discussions about who Caitlyn will or won't dance with, or if she will dance at all. I can't deal in hypotheticals and have no idea what any Trump aids hope happens," the rep told People.

And of course, her team also posed the question on everyone's minds: "If they danced, who would lead?"

The gold-winning Olympian, has praised the former "Apprentice" host in the past, so a friendship between the two could very well become reality!

"Trump seems to be very much for women. He seems very much behind the LGBT community because of what happened in North Carolina with the bathroom issue," she said of the Republican figure in a June 2016 interview with STAT.
