Oprah began 2017 on a slim note, revealing that she dropped a whopping 42 pounds!

The 62-year-old media personality showed off her impressive weight loss on the January cover of Weight Watcher's magazine.

See Oprah through the years:

"Intention is the most powerful principle that rules my world," she told the magazine. "I do nothing without first thinking about why I'm doing it. What is the real motivation?"

The business mogul made an appearance on CBS' "This Morning" on Tuesday, where she flaunted her impressive figure. She wore a grey sweater, black pants and a white long-sleeved shirt underneath.

She promoted her new healthy cookbook, "Food, Health and Happiness," on the daytime talk show, but she admits that she's been known to indulge from time to time -- and her friends are totally surprised at how often she does it.

"They say, 'I thought you were on Weight Watchers, you're eating this?'" she admitted.

For the Weight Watcher's spokeswoman, her journey to great health will be one that'll last a lifetime.

"What I've learned is ....Weight Watchers isn't a diet, it's a support system ... so I know I'll be doing it for the rest of my life. I feel healthier, more alive and more connected then I've ever been."
