Seth Meyers slams Trump's climate denial in 'Late Night' segment

Andrew Freedman

NBC's Seth Meyers has been transforming his show into a home for substantive, and hilarious, critiques of the incoming Trump administration. On Wednesday's Late Night, Meyers devoted nearly 10 minutes to a discussion of the president-elect's views on climate change — and it wasn't pretty.

Noting Trump's hatred of wind mills (they kill too many eagles, Trump has repeatedly said), denial of mainstream climate science and ideological cabinet picks, Meyers paints a picture of a downright dangerous incoming administration.

The segment, like most of Meyers' "A Closer Look" pieces, is worth watching in its entirety to catch up on exactly how anti-climate science Trump and his team actually are, and why you should care.
