Michelle Williams says BFF Busy Philipps is the love of her life
Michelle Williams has a lot going for her, especially now that she's garnering praise for yet another dynamic role, this time in Manchester by the Sea. (In the somber drama, Williams gives a heart-wrenching performance as a grief-stricken divorcee to leading man Casey Affleck.) When she's off the screen, though, Michelle Williams has a lot to smile about in her real life. She's an acclaimed actress, a mother, and she's apparently pretty sure that she's found the love of her life. The title belongs to none other than her best friend Busy Philipps.

When your BFF is your soulmate, it's kind of easier to imagine a drama-free future. Williams and Philipps have been walking the red carpet together for years, ever since they were co-stars on Dawson's Creek early 2000's. When she spoke toPeople magazine, Williams said that Philipps is "proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man! That's the love of my life right there." She added, "I'm so in love with her."
Busy Philipps returned the warm friendship fuzzies by posting a #TBT of the two back in 2001.
Flash forward to 2016, where the two took a very glam mirror selfie in the Critic's Choice Awards porta potties.

Although they look much more chic now—porta potty and all—Williams and Philipps have always known how to party. Philipps has been by Williams' side through it all, accompanying her on trips like this #tequila journey to the Maldives.
Here's hoping Williams will walk the Golden Globes red carpet with her best friend again this season. She told People that she's delighted with her Golden Globes nomination, as she apparently "didn't even expect [Manchester by the Sea] would get made." Now, she gets to enjoy her success with the best soulmate of them all.
