Bruno Mars teaches James Corden all about fashion and elvis on 'Carpool Karaoke'

Bruno Mars followed up on the Material Girl's "Carpool Karaoke" with one of his own just days later.

The performer joined James Corden for a ride on Tuesday's episode of The Late Late Show, singing tunes from his latest album, 24K Magic, as they discussed fashion, Elvis Presley and poker.

Corden told him that every time they've met, Mars "seems like he's in a great mood," which he attributes to the performer's soft silk shirts and impressive hat collection. They tried out a few new looks, with the late-night host finally settling on a gold glittery cap that made him feel like "I'm just a guy who's constantly waiting for his Tinder date to turn up."

Mars told Corden he knew he wanted to be a performer at the age of 4, when he impersonated Elvis onstage, which led to a duet of the legend's "Jailhouse Rock." "In this car right now, you're young Elvis, and I'm fat Elvis when he's in Vegas," joked Corden.

The singer gave Corden some dance tips as well, including "shoulder moves" that took a while to master, before teaching the host his best poker face from his card-shark days.

The duo sang their own versions of "Locked Out of Heaven," "24K Magic," "If I Knew," "Uptown Funk," "Perm" and "Grenade."

"I'd catch a grenade for you," Corden told Mars, but "only if the pin was in," he clarified.

Mars: "That's f—ed up."
