We've all been there: you're streaming Orange Is the New Black or Stranger Things or Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt while riding the subway, or in the backseat of a car, when suddenly, boom, you lose the internet connection. That's not a problem any longer: Netflix will, as promised, now let you download certain shows and movies for off-line viewing.

According to a press release:

Many of your favorite streaming series and movies are already available for download, with more on the way, so there is plenty of content available for those times when you are offline. For example, Orange is The New Black, Narcos, and The Crown are available for download today. (Via)

The feature is available through the Netflix app for all plans. There's no need to make awkward chit-chat with strangers on an airplane ever again.
