Drake reminds everyone that he and Nina Dobrev were on 'Degrassi' together

In case you all forgot, Drake was formerly a child star on a Canadian show.

The rapper scooped up a win for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album for 'Views' at the American Music Awards on Sunday and when he took the stage, he was greeted by an old friend -- Nina Dobrev.

Dobrev, who was once his co-star on "Degrassi," presented Drake with the award and gave him a huge hug in front of the crowd. Since "Degrassi," she's gone on to star in "The Vampire Diaries."

Drake snagged the award and then jokingly said into the mic, "Me and Nina were on 'Degrassi' together by the way. Congratulations on all your success."

Aww -- how sweet!
