CBS' Good Wife spinoff continues to staff up ahead of its February 2017 launch, adding Justin Bartha (The New Normal) as a series regular and love interest for Cush Jumbo's Lucca.

The offshoot — titled The Good Fight — finds Bartha playing Colin, a rising star in the State's Attorney's office and Chicago's most eligible bachelor. Romantic sparks begin to fly when he finds himself going up against Lucca in the courtroom.

"Whenever you're looking for a romantic lead, you look for someone who can play the comedy and the sexuality, but even more importantly is the intelligence," said showrunners Robert and Michelle King in a statement. "And that's what we love about Justin: he can play all three: the comedy and the sexuality, but he's also convincing as a tough intellectual foe to Cush in court. We couldn't be happier."

As previously reported, The Good Fight picks up one year after the events of last May's finale and also stars Good Wife vets Christine Baranski (Diane) and Sarah Steele (Marissa). In the new series, an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of Diane's goddaughter, Maia (Game of Thrones' Rose Leslie) simultaneously wiping out Diane's savings. Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, Diane and Marissa join Lucca at one of Chicago's pre-eminent law firms.

The ensemble also includes Good Wife newbies Delroy Lindo (Chicago Code), Paul Guilfoyle (CSI), Bernadette Peters (Smash) and Erica Tazel (Justified). Additionally, Gary Cole will reprise his role as Diane's hubby Kurt McVeigh on a recurring basis and Zach Grenier (David) and Jerry Adler (Howard) will guest star in the premiere.
