Ricky Martin confirms his engagement to Syrian artist boyfriend, Jwan Yosef

Ricky Martin is looking for love no more! The Latin signer announced on "The Ellen Degeneres" show on Tuesday that he is engaged to his boyfriend of more than a year, Jwan Yosef.

The "Livin La Vida Loca" singer said that he was the one who proposed to his boyfriend and admitted that was he was really nervous when he popped the question.

"I proposed. I was really nervous," Martin explained. "I got on my knees, and I took out the little velvet pouch and instead of saying, 'Would you marry me?' I said, 'I got you something!' Bad." Despite his accidental faux pas, Martin powered through the proposal.

"I said, 'I want to spend my life with you,' and he said, 'What is the question?'" he recalled laughing. "It was very beautiful and then 30 minutes after, I said, 'Wait, did you say yes?'"

Martin, who is the dad of 8-year-old twin sons Mateo and Valentino, said that the whole family gets along great.

The two met through Martin's love for Syrian-born and Swedish-raised, Yosef's art.

"I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does. Really original. And I contacted him and then I collected him," Martin told Ellen.

Martin hasn't been shy about his love, either. He regularly posts about his love on his social media accounts and the duo recently returned from a vacation and posted a hot snap from the time away.
