Jennifer Garner lights up Save the Children Gala in a dreamy strapless gown -- see her stunning look!


Jennifer Garner is simply stunning!

While stepping out to the fourth annual Save the Children Illumination Gala at The Plaza in New York City on Tuesday, the Miracles From Heaven star turned heads in a posh look fit for a princess.

The 44-year-old actress wore Charlotte Olympia peep-toe pumps with a floor-length gown, which featured a velvet midnight blue sweetheart bodice and a black skirt with cascading side ruffles.

Garner kept her brunette tresses elegantly pulled back with a half-up, half-down 'do, and her dazzling accessories and sweet smile completed her ensemble perfectly.

Garner, who is a Save the Children Artist Ambassador and Trustee, hosted the star-studded gala, which honored supermodel Iman, Athene, Richard Curtis and Toys "R" Us. Celebrities in attendance included Dakota Fanning, Bridgit Mendler, Jennifer Nettles and Gabriela Hearst.

Before the night's festivities kicked off, Garner opened up to ET about teaching her own children, 10-year-old Violet, 7-year-old Seraphina and 4-year-old Samuel, whom she shares with ex Ben Affleck, about the importance of charity.

"It's so important that you model for your kids how to be a citizen of the world, and I think that's the very best thing you can do," she explained. "That's really important at home, to make sure that our kids know that we both have causes that we care so much about... that we dedicate time, resources, and our energy toward making our own little slice of the world a little bit better."
