Kanye West won't attend Grammy Awards if Frank Ocean isn't nominated: Watch

Kanye West has vowed to not attend the Grammy Awards next year if Frank Ocean doesn't receive any nominations for the singer's two new releases, Blonde and the "visual album" Endless.

"I'll tell you this right now, if his album is not nominated in no categories, I'm not showing up to the Grammys," West told concert-goers during his concert in Oakland, Calif., on Saturday (Oct. 22). "As artists, we've got to come together to fight the bullshit."

West's threat arrives less than a week after Billboardbroke the news that Blonde and Endless will in fact not appear on the Grammy nominees list when it is revealed on Dec. 8. As previously reported, a source confirms to Billboard that neither album was submitted for consideration by Ocean's labels, management or other reps, even though both were released well before the 2017 Grammy eligibility cutoff date of Sept. 30, 2016.

A rep for the Grammys also confirmed that Ocean's albums had not been submitted for consideration.
