Kim Kardashian makes her first public appearance since being held at gunpoint in Paris

Kim Kardashian made her first public appearance on Thursday since her armed robbery in Paris on Sunday night and, though it was a quick sighting, she showed a different side to her that we haven't seen in a long time.

The entrepreneur was photographed quickly leaving her New York apartment completely hiding her face underneath an oversized gray hoodie and baseball cap over gray sweatpants and classic low-rise vans. She was holding her daughter, North West, too.

Just after Kardashian entered a black SUV, her husband Kanye West followed her into the vehicle while holding their son, Saint. According to E!, the couple was traveling back to their home in Los Angeles, where they haven't been since August.

Over the past couple of months, especially, Kardashian has been showing off her increasingly-fit body in a slew of revealing, high-fashion looks, which makes her appearance on Thursday all the more jarring. Of course, it's understandable that the star doesn't want to be seen: She's reportedly traumatized from her terrifying incident in Paris, during which a group of masked men broke into her apartment, gagged her, bound her and held a gun to her head before making off with over $10 million in jewelry.

Rumors are swirling that Kardashian is going to completely change the way she approaches her security, her social media and her public appearances following the attack, leaving many wondering how the incident will affect her in the long run.
