Kourtney Kardashian is feeling introspective, judging from her first tweet since Kim's robbery

When Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris, she wasn't the only member of the famous family to be abroad. Sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner were also in town, along with mom Kris Jenner. Of that group, though, Kourtney is the first to get back on social media with a simple Tweet that alludes to how she's feeling about and coping with what transpired in Paris.

On Wednesday evening, Kourtney tweeted out a photo of a passage from a devotional book along with the emoji of a pair of praying hands. The passage reads, in part:

"Remember that joy is not dependent on your circumstances. Some of the world's most miserable people are those whose circumstances seem the most enviable. People who reach the top of the ladder career-wise are often surprised to find emptiness awaiting them. True Joy is a by-product of living in My Presence. Therefore you can experience it in palaces, in prisons...anywhere."

Kourtney isn't necessarily the first to break the social media spell the Kardashian family has been in since the robbery earlier this week. Earlier this week, Caitlyn Jenner took a misstep with an initial post that didn't reference the robbery; she followed that with another post expressing her relief that Kim is safe. Kylie Jenner also had a throwback, sexy photo of herself shared on Instagram on Wednesday. But Kourtney's photo, devoid of any direct commentary from her, is perhaps the most telling of where her mind and heart is at the moment. And judging from the verses she shared, Kim's robbery in Paris has Kourtney reflecting on the bigger things in life.
