DJ Khaled announces new book 'The Keys'

DJ Khaled is taking his major keys from Snapchat to a forthcoming book called The Keys. The hip-hop mogul announced (Sept. 28) that he will be releasing his debut literary effort on Nov. 22, via Crown Publishing Group.

"Finally, the book They don't want you to read is here," the book's Barnes & Noble pre-order page reads. "The Keys will reveal DJ Khaled's philosophy for success, featuring stories from his own life as he breaks down all of the major keys." The page goes on to preview a couple of said keys, including "The key is to not jetski at night" and "The key is to have every key."

Khaled previously teased his self-help book in a May 11 interview with the New York Times magazine. "The keys can never run out. Sometimes when you get a key, it gets you another key, and gets you another key," he said about his motivational nuggets of wisdom. "One of my major keys is actually the master keys: God. In my life, they've hid the keys from me, so I've overcome and weathered a lot of storms."

The news of his book comes in the midst of a banner year for Khaled, who also secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with his latest effort Major Key back in August.
