Jennifer Aniston reacts to ex Brad Pitt's divorce from Angelina Jolie: 'That's karma!'

In the wake of Tuesday's shocking divorce announcement from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, seemingly everyone -- especially the internet -- wanted to know how Pitt's ex, Jennifer Aniston, had reacted to the news. After all, Pitt allegedly ended his marriage with Aniston so that he could be with Jolie, whom he had starred with in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."

Well, according to Us Weekly, now we know how Jen took to the unexpected news and, well, it appears as though it wasn't all that unexpected for the 47-year-old actress, who is now married to Justin Theroux.

A source told Us that Aniston said, "Yeah, that's karma for you!" when reacting to the divorce shocker.

"She always got the sense that something would happen with them eventually. She didn't feel that Angelina was truly the one who Brad was meant to stay with," the insider continued. "She always felt that Angelina was too complex for him. He's a pretty simple guy."

Aniston and Pitt were famously married for five years before getting a divorce back in 2005, when "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" was released in theaters. Popular opinion tended to side with Aniston in the split, pointing to allegations that Pitt had cheated on Aniston with Jolie while filming the flick. And, though sources told Us that she "never wanted this for them or wished this on them," she also "admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina's split."

For her part, Aniston is happy in her now-one-year marriage to Theroux, so she doesn't seem to be dwelling much on the breakup news. At the end of the day, it's been over a decade since she and Pitt ended their relationship, and she has seemingly moved on -- even if the internet doesn't want her to.
