Rami Malek wins first Emmy of his career for 'Mr. Robot'

Yes, Rami Malek. We're seeing this, too.

Malek won his first Emmy — for outstanding lead actor in a drama series — for his role on "Mr. Robot." "Please tell me you're seeing this, too," Malek said as he took the stage, referring his small-screen counterpart Elliot Alderson, who sees things that aren't real.

Malek capped his breakthrough year with a win for his role as moody, mentally disturbed hacker Elliot on USA Network's "Mr. Robot." The actor earned a Golden Globe nom earlier this year.

"I'm honored to stand here and represent my family and every single person who has helped me get this far. I'm honored to work with a pure visionary in Sam Esmail, I wouldn't be here without you, to go to work with an absurdly gifted cast, and crew, and writers."

Kyle Chandler of Netflix's "Bloodline," Bob Odenkirk of AMC's "Better Call Saul," Matthew Rhys of FX's "The Americans," Liev Schreiber of Showtime's "Ray Donovan," and Kevin Spacey of Netflix's "House of Cards" were also up for the award.
