Kate McKinnon gives tearful acceptance speech at 2016 Emmy Awards
Kate McKinnon revealed a side of her we're probably not used to seeing.
"I'm really crying," the 32-year-old comedian said while trying to fight back tears during her acceptance speech for "Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series" at the 2016 Emmy Awards.

She snagged her first Emmy win for her work on "Saturday Night Live" after being previously nominated three times. The star also made history on Sunday night, becoming the only "SNL" actress to ever win in her respective category.
While she thanked several people including "SNL" cast and crew in between sobs, she also managed to crack a joke.
"Thank you to the Academy so much -- that's such a good sentence," she hilariously said.
McKinnon also expressed her gratitude to fellow comedian Ellen DeGeneres, whom she has perfectly imitated on several "SNL" skits. DeGeneres managed to give a shout out on Twitter shortly after her historic win:
Kate McKinnon! I'm so happy for you. You deserve it and so much more. And not just because you thanked me. #Emmys
— Ellen DeGeneres (@TheEllenShow) September 19, 2016
But it was another big name she dropped that caused a round of applause.
"Thank you Hillary Clinton," McKinnon said.
It's no surprise the mention of Clinton, who McKinnon has played on "SNL," caused the room to go wild. Several Hollywood stars have publicly endorsed the Democratic candidate.
