Fab or Flop: Lady Gaga goes braless and Padma Lakshmi flashes her booty

What were you thinking this week, Lady Gaga and Padma Lakshmi?

From completely see-through tops without bras to completely see-through bottoms with tiny knickers, this week's fashion statements were swimming with flops. The sheer trend continued with some stars taking on the daring trend with unspectacular results, but the sheer situations were nearly rivaled by the horrifying number of jumpsuits.

Yes, jumpsuits, a trend we could normally respect, had a rough week with stars like Christina Milian rocking a leather jumpsuit that was bunchy in all the wrong places, to Heidi Klum donning a sparkling, too-tight jumpsuit that made her look vaguely similar to Siegfried and Roy. "Pitch Perfect" star Elizabeth Banks also rocked a jumpsuit that left us scratching our heads.

Miley Cyrus also hit the town this week dressed like a tablecloth.

And for all the fashion fails, there were plenty of dresses that made our jaws drop this week. From Scarlett Johansson's dashing return to the red carpet in a red Haney frock to Chrissy Teigen's color-blocked separates, we had our eye on quite a few winners this week.

Check out all the fashion hits and misses below:

Fab or Flop: Week of September 11

FLOP: Padma Lakshmi usually brings the spice to her food, but in this case she brought the spice to the red carpet -- but we think it might have been too much. The sheer gown, which the "Top Chef" host teamed with a black leotard, just seemed a little too much like a Halloween costume than a fashion week-ready gown.

FAB: We can't get enough of Scarlett Johansson easy and whimsical style. The actress hit the "Sing" premiere in a pretty red silk-chiffon dress from Haney and polished off the flirty style with a set of black, platform heels.

FLOP: If you want to get a thrill out of folks, go braless. Lady Gaga turned heads at Tony Bennett's 90th birthday party in a black dress that was totally see-through, but gave us some Audrey Hepburn vibes. The up-to-there slit and sheer look was a little too risque for our taste.

FAB: Fashionista Sienna Miller can do no wrong in our book. We love this polka-dot number with her super cool sandals for the Michael Kors runway show.

FAB: Actress Kate Hudson put the sexy into TIFF with a black Alexander McQueen dress with a lace corset and a sheer lace bottom. She teamed the lingerie-like look with a set of black undies and a diamond necklace. If you've got it, flaunt it!

FLOP: There's something about this leather jumpsuit that rubs us all wrong -- perhaps it is the bunchiness in the mid-section or the army green color. Christina Milian looks ready to jump out of an airplane.

FAB: Lily James may have had our favorite look at TIFF yet with a white, off the shoulder dress, with multiple players of guazy lace. She added a touch of bronze to her cheeks and a deep color on her lips to perfect the look.

FLOP: It looks like former '90210' star Jessica Lowndes is trying out for the role of Charlie Chaplin. And we don't love it.

FAB: British babes! Emily Blunt looked just as lovely as her pal Sienna Miller and we love Blunt's bold red lip color and bright green clutch. Talk about a style statement we can get behind.

FLOP: While there's not a lot particularly wrong with Pamela Anderson's black gown, the bedazzled neckline and shininess of the fabric seemed a touch 1980s.

FAB: Just a hint! Minka Kelly looked dazzling in a blue, polka-dot dress with a sheer, plunging neckline. She opted for nude makeup and a smoky eye to amp up the look.

FLOP: Apparently Heidi Klum thinks it is okay to raid the closet of Siegfried and Roy. The "America's Got Talent" host looked ready to tame a tiger in this overly-embellished, velvet jumpsuit.

FAB: Looking good! Former Miss USA Olivia Culpo was a definite looker in this midnight blue, silk lingerie dress and robe from David Yurman. It's definitely a sexy look for the evening. She finished off the look with Stuart Weitzman shoes and a Sophie Hulme clutch. (Photo by Michael Stewart/Getty Images)

FAB: Former model Chrissy Teigen gave her best catwalk was she headed out on the town in New York City in a bold, red two-piece outfit. Yowza!

FLOP: Woops, Miley Cyrus apparently stole the tablecloth from her picnic earlier in the day and made an outfit out of it.

FAB: Basic babe! Julianne Moore kept thing simple in a black dress with a high, velvet collar for the Tom Ford Autumn/Winter 2016 Menswear and Womenswear Collection presentation, but her stunning look was anything but simple. Nice work, Juls.

FAB: Dressed to kill! Sharon Stone looked hotter than ever in a set of leather pants, hot heels and layers of black scarves and blouses. She polished off her hot outfit with a set of shades to add a bit of illusion.

FAB: Nina Dobrev has always worn a lot of Marchesa dresses, but she looked better than ever as in a red number ahead of the Marchesa fashion show. The blouson sleeves and lace detailing add a touch of glam to the overall look.

FLOP: "Modern Family" star Ariel Winter has been embracing some more mature fashions lately, but this one is a bit too eye-popping for her age. The hip-high slit, trench coat and bralette with a choker seems too adult for her.

FAB: "Empire: stars Jussie Smollett and Naomi Campbell hit the Brandon Maxwell fashion show in black and white looks. We love Jussie's trench and Naomi's pretty, silk jumpsuit.

FLOP: In theory, this jumpsuit isn't all bad with the figure-hugging fit and midnight blue color, but we don't love the detailing on top of Elizabeth Banks. The sparkling embellishments and zippers seem off.

FAB: Leggy lady! Heidi Klum put her model bod on display for the finale of "America's Got Talent" in a black, minidress with sparkles and tassels.

FAB: Model Ashley Graham poured her curves into a slinky black and white dress at the Prabal Gurung show, and we love the bold yet simple nature of her attire. The understated heels and dramatic makeup take things to the next level.
