When it came to celebrity fashion this week there were plenty of hits, but there were also an abundance of fashion misses.
A-list stars like Natalie Portman and Amy Adams nailed their looks at the Venice Film Festival and wowed in a variety of ballgowns, but a short distance away Lady Gaga was sporting what would be a big fashion miss. Mother Monster hit the town in London in a set of barely-there jean shorts that were so cut off they showed the cheeks of her derriere. She paired them with a top -- sans bra -- that also left little to the imagination.
And perhaps that was the name of the fashion game in the flop department this week -- the more risque the look the further the jaw drops. Models at the Venice Film Festival hit the show without underwear and Kim Kardashian also rocked several flashy dresses that showed off her nipples.
We're praying for the day that everyone goes back to dressing like Grace Kelly.

Fab or Flop: Week of August 5
Fab or Flop: Week of August 5
FLOP: Little Bo Peep called and she wants her outfit back! A guest attended the premiere of 'Never Ever' at the Venice Film Festival and it looks like she didn't get the memo about Halloween costumes noting being allowed on the red carpet.

FLOP: Lady Gaga didn't exactly wear a proper outfit during a day out in London. Mother Monster sported some questionable looking shorts -- that were a bit too short -- and a silver blouse sans bra. Points for uniqueness and her taut abs, but this one is a flop for all the obvious reasons.

FLOP: Renee Zellweger normally nails it on the red carpet. but this over-the-top left sleeve is completely distracting. Pair that with the ruching and high hip slit on the other side and this one is just a hot mess.

FLOP: Kylie Jenner may be in New York City for fashion week, but her look on Wednesday was far from fashionable. The figure-hugging white jumpsuit was a bit too much with the plunging neckline and a jungle-like coat.

FAB: "X-Files star Gillian Anderson doesn't seem to age a day and looked better than ever at the screening of BBC Two drama "The Fall." We love the midnight blue jumpsuit and platform heels.

Wowza! Model Naomi Campbell definitely turned heads at New York Fashion Week in a sequined number with a plunging, sheer front. The 46-year-old literally was oozing sex appeal in the outfit.

Not only did Natalie Portman show off her brand new baby bump -- she's expecting baby No. 2 -- she also was a total knockout in this blush, one-shoulder dress. A pop of red on her lips added a touch of subtle sophistication.
FLOP: Mel B is used to being center stage as a former Spice Girl, but this ice-skater meets snake meets dress is a total mess. The sexy sheer cutouts seem to hit in all the wrong places if you ask us.

Hottest couple on earth? Rande Gerber and model Cindy Crawford hit the Tom Ford show at NYFW and Cindy literally looks better at every event. We can't get enough of her white, column dress with a plunging neckline.

FLOP: Kim Kardashian may have caused a stir for showing off her chest in a completely see-through dress, but we can't say it was our favorite look of all time. The futuristic footwear and way too flashy dress were just tacky.

FAB: Like a boss! Bella Hadid kept her look simple for the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London in a nude off-the-shoulder dress with a thigh-high slit. She added a touch of glam to her look with a diamond choker and ring.

The slip dress is always a good idea and Cat Deeley played it just right rocking a nude slip and bouncing blonde curls as she hit Jimmy Kimmel's show.

FLOP: Monochromatic can be sexy, but we're not super fond of Solange Knowles' bright red number from head-to-toe. She looks like a walking stop sign.

Sienna Miller dazzled in a light blue dress with sheer panels in the bodice. The flowing and bohemian dress was a definite winner.

FLOP: It's hard to call this one a fashion flop when it is more of a straight-up disaster. Models Dayane Mello and Giulia Salemi hit the Venice Film Festival in dresses that left little to the imagination and nearly showed off their lady bits. All we can say is, really girls?
