'Stranger Things' kids reunite with Barb on Netflix's 'Chelsea' (Video)
For a dead girl, Barb from "Stranger Things" sure does get around.
The ginger Internet sensation appeared on fellow Netflix original "Chelsea," along with "Stranger Things" kid actors Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Millie Bobby Brown. The episode won't be available on Netflix until Sept. 8, but we've got a clip right now.
Unlike a sketch on "The Tonight Show" last week, though, actress Shannon Purser stopped by as herself, eschewing Barb's dowdier wardrobe and haircut for a more modern look.
Before Purser made her grand entrance, bearing a cake in honor of Matarazzo's 14th birthday, "Chelsea" host Chelsea Handler pressed the three kids about whether there would indeed be #JusticeforBarb in the recently announced second season of "Stranger Things."
"What does 'justice' mean?" Brown inquired, striking at the heart of many an Internet commenter's thoughts. What does the concept of justice look like for a character so beloved, and disposed of so quickly?
Will it be, as McLaughlin and Brown posited, a general air of respect granted to the unfortunate victim of the monster from the Upside Down?
Purser herself didn't have any answers, but the actress, whose first acting role was that of the now-beloved Barb, is enjoying the fruits of sudden stardom.
"It was totally unexpected," she said. "Suddenly it blew up and people were tweeting about Barb. I didn't think anyone would care, and they did, and it's been awesome."
Watch the clip above before the episode premieres on Netflix on Sept. 8.
