Pharrell Williams soon will be coming to a Dean & DeLuca store near you.

The visionary music mogul, who already has collaborated with such brands as Comme des Garcons, Moncler, Uniqlo, G-Star Raw, Happy Socks and Adidas Stan Smith, is adding another high-profile partnership to his résumé by joining forces with the popular gourmet chain. Williams will work with his family on a new product line, scheduled to debut in stores in 2017.

Dubbed "The Williams Family Kitchen," the line will showcase specialty products based on Williams' authentic family recipes. Williams announced the news himself this week at a Dean & DeLuca store in Bangkok along with his father, Pharoah, CEO Sorapoj Techakraisri and vice chairman Charles Finch.

"It was an honor to help my dad turn his cooking pastime into a business with this Dean & DeLuca collaboration. His recipes are so good — my whole family is addicted to his cooking," noted Williams. "Our father-son agreement was that he would make food with healthier ingredients that were a better choice for his lifestyle and would essentially help add years to his life. The kitchen is where everyone hangs out to talk and eat, hence the name."

Added Finch: "By partnering with a powerhouse like Pharrell, Sorapoj and I are building on Dean & DeLuca's history of excellence as a curator of some of the world's most premium products. Together we will continue to build the brand's presence in the luxury and entertainment sectors through this and similar upcoming partnerships."

Dean & DeLuca launched in New York's SoHo neighborhood in 1977 and since has expanded to outposts in North Carolina; Kansas; California; Washington, D.C.; Japan; Korea; Thailand; Dubai; Kuwait; Philippines; and Singapore. While California is noted on that list, Los Angeles has long been rumored to be the next destination of a new location. In June, several outlets, including Eater LA, posted that Dean & DeLuca has zeroed in on a Melrose Place space for a new shop, but that destination has yet to open.
