Snap-arazzi: The best celebrity Snapchats from the 2016 VMAs

The 2016 MTV Video Music Awards were the talk of the town (read: world) last night, as the world's biggest stars descended upon Madison Square Garden for one of the most anticipated nights in music.
With performances by Britney Spears, Beyoncé and Rihanna, among many others, the night featured a slew of amazing moments, despite lacking a competent host for the evening (Key and Peele just didn't do it for us -- sorry, y'all!).

The best part of any major celebrity gathering these days, though, is all of the glorious opportunities for Snapchat selfies and random celeb meet-ups to document on social media.
Kim Kardashian seemed to take the most advantage of the night, snapping selfies with the likes of the Final Five and Michael Phelps to Britney Spears and Ariana Grande. Nick and Joe Jonas got matching tattoos before the show, while Grande expressed her disapproval of the photo that organizers chose as her seat-holder.

The official event photographers also did a fantastic job at capturing some other behind-the-scenes moments that happened during commercial breaks -- some of which are the best moments of the night. Drake and Rihanna whispered sweet nothings to one another just off stage, Chance The Rapper hung out with seemingly everyone in the audience and Frankie Grande acted very, well, Frankie Grande.
