Watch Miranda Lambert Tear up on Stage Over a Soldier's Touching Sign

During her Friday night concert in Hartford, Connecticut, country music star Miranda Lambert spotted one fan's moving poster that caused her to break down in tears on stage.

Right as she began singing "The House That Built Me," a clearly emotional Lambert stopped mid-verse.

"Really?" she uttered into the microphone.

She then proceeded to walk forward towards the crowd, pick up the white poster board and hold it up for the entire venue to see.

"3 combat tours," the touching sign read. "[Your] voice was the last thing I listened to EVERY NIGHT! THANK YOU!!!"

By now, Lambert is far from the only one in the room tearing up -- a close-up camera catches the soldier who brought the sign crying right along with her.

After turning around and showing the poster to her band, Lambert made an unsuccessful attempt to return to the microphone and continue the song.

"Second verse, I gotta get a drink," she said, understandably unable to compose herself. "Y'all, I gotta do it."

After taking a brief water break, she motioned to the crowd that she needed their help finishing the song -- and of course, they happily assisted.
