"Lip Sync Battle" is set to go live next month for the first time ever — and some old favorites are booking flights back to the Spike competition.

John Legend, Olivia Munn, Terry Crews and others will perform on one-hour special "Lip Sync Battle: All-Stars Live." This time around, winners will be crowned by fans voting along at home.

"Our show is always wild, but for this show, the returning champs already know how to play and win and are focused on giving an over-the-top performance," said Casey Patterson, executive producer. "Being live for first time ever means anything can happen and we are so excited that our fans at home will be voting live for the winner."

In addition to Patterson, Jay Peterson, John Krasinski, and Stephen Merchant also executive produce the popular series, which is based on a "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" segment.

Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen co-hosts "Lip Sync Battle" with Grammy winner LL Cool J. The series will return for Season 3 on a new night and in a fresh time slot: Wednesday, October 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Those will be pre-recorded, as per usual.

The "All-Stars" episode will run Sunday, September 11 at 8 p.m. ET. on Spike.
