Jonah Hill says he snorted too much fake cocaine on 'Wolf of Wall Street' set, had to be hospitalized
Even fake drugs can have real consequences!
Jonah Hill appeared on this week's Any Given WednesdayWith Bill Simmons, where the War Dogs star opened up about his time filming the 2013 movie, Wolf of Wall Street -- specifically, the toll all the fake drugs he had to take had on his system.
"I had to be hospitalized," Hill, 32, revealed. "If you ingest that much matter into your lungs you'll get very sick, and we were literally doing fake coke for seven months, every day."
But even though it involved a trip to the ER, Hill admits the experience wasn't all bad.
"I never had more vitamin D in my entire life," he said, joking, "I could have lifted a car over my f**king head!"
Jonah Hill through the years:
Despite the faux-drug abuse, Hill fondly remembered getting to work with director Martin Scorsese on the project, saying, "He's such a genius on so many levels, that it is inexplainable."
Hill co-starred with Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf Of Wall Street, and earlier this month, Hill revealed how the Oscar winner helped him prepare for playing a real-life character in his most recent film, War Dogs.
"He said, 'Always meet them if you can, take what you want and leave what you don't,'" Hill shared.
