This year's Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco brought together an estimated 210,000 concert-goers from all over the world. The festival not only featured established names in the music industry like Lionel Richie, Radiohead and Duran Duran, but also showcased emerging artists like The Knocks and Marian Hill. With an incredible line up, it's no surprise that some of social media's biggest stars wanted to get in on the action.

Among them was Jc Caylen, the YouTube personality who has almost 1 million subscribers on the platform alone. Caylen has also recently emerged in the acting industry, nabbing a starring role in the go90 series "t@gged." Episode 6 of "t@gged" was just released on go90 and his incredible performance in the thriller series is proof that Caylen is set to be a breakout star this year in the entertainment industry.

We had the chance to catch up with the social media star during this year's Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival to talk about his favorite act, and the incredible fan interaction that changed his life.

This feature is a part of #KanvasLive, an interactive, cross-platform content series brought to life on the Kanvas app and AOL.com. See more on coverage here.

Who are you most looking forward to see at this year's Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival?
Honestly there are a lot of acts that I like but this band called LANY that I absolutely love. They're very, very small right now so they played at 12:30 and I was there for that.

How was it?
It was amazing. I love that band so much.

What have you been up to so far at Outside Lands?
I'm here with go90 to do interviews but right now I'm chilling! I love festivals like this because they're so chill.

Speaking of go90, how did you first get involved with "t@gged?"
I went in for auditions about a year ago and it was for this new thriller show. It was a teen show and I thought, "Okay, I like this." I went in for the audition for a character named Sean. They absolutely loved me for some reason and to this day, I don't know why. And we filmed in New Mexico with a great cast, everyone is so talented. It was a great time all around.

Did you always grow up with a love of the thriller or horror genre?
I am a sucker for thriller and horror and those shows that keep you on your toes; "t@gged" is in that ballpark.

What has been your most memorable moment while on set?
I'm going to say not on set, but with the whole cast itself, we woke up really early one morning at 4 a.m. for sunrise and went to a hot air balloon festival in New Mexico. I feel like that was my favorite moment in that whole era of filming. It was so beautiful.

What is the dynamic like between you and your castmates?
I feel like the dynamic is great because everyone is so different, but so warm and welcome. We all vibe well. Everyone is so friendly and when I went there, I felt a little amateur since it was first project and I'm surrounded by all these great actors. I wasn't sure what to do. But everyone was so amazing to me, so I feel like we're such a family. I'm excited to film Season 2.

What do you hope viewers will take away from watching "t@gged?"
Personally, I'm all about entertainment. So what they should take away is the entertainment aspect and that the show brings people together. I've had Tweets come in from fans saying they're having a viewing party just to see me. When my family watches, I bring friends over and we all eat popcorn and watch. I think that's what's special, that it's bringing people who love the thriller together.

How have you seen your social media career impact your acting career?
I'd say that it's impacted my career so much because people see my personality on YouTube and they want to work with me more. It's almost like a video resume, because I have my own personality on YouTube and since I don't play a character, they can see who I am and what I'm about. I feel like they know me on a personal level and know what I will be like to work with.

What has been the most surreal moment in your career so far?
The little moments stick out. It's something so small as when I was on tour, and every time I walked out of the bus or was at a hotel, there are always people who want to meet me and take pictures. They say that I changed their life in a positive way, and those are the moments I live for.

What's the one piece of advice you wish you had received before you started your career?
I've learned this now, but take in each moment as it is -- no matter if it's bad or good. And always find the positive in those moments. There have been a lot of ups and downs in my career, but at this point, I know that each moment happens for a reason and you have to take away the good from it.
