A "Fantastic Beasts" sequel written by J.K. Rowling will hit theaters in 2018.

The second "Fantastic Beasts" movie moves deeper into an increasingly dark time for the wizarding world, where Newt and our other heroes have to decide on their allegiances.

David Yates will return to direct the sequel, slated for a November 16, 2018 release.
