Leonardo DiCaprio set to host fundraiser for Hillary Clinton
Leonardo DiCaprio is planning a warm welcome for Hillary Clinton when she returns to Hollywood as the official Democratic nominee next month.
The Oscar winner is set to host a lunchtime fundraiser at his Los Angeles home, a person with knowledge of the event told TheWrap Monday.
Scheduled for Aug. 23, tickets will cost $33,400 per person, with the first $2,700 going to the Clinton campaign, and the remainder benefitting the DNC and state and local parties.

Clinton will also be the guest of honor at a fundraiser the day before, co-hosted by Haim and Cheryl Saban, Disney CEO Bob Iger, L.A. Olympics bid chief Casey Wasserman and Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Known for his dedication to environmental issues, "The Revenant" star DiCaprio has been a loyal supporter of Clinton's since she first announced that she was running for office.

He also attended a fundraiser for her at Harvey Weinstein's house in June, alongside fellow co-hosts Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick.
