Candace Payne, a Texas resident known on the internet as Chewbacca Mom, posted a new video that already has more than 3.2 million views, sharing her response to the recent slayings of five police officers.

Payne became an internet sensation when she posted a video on Facebook Live of herself having a blast while wearing a Star Wars Chewbacca toy mask in May. The video became the most watched of that format with more than 159 million views.

Since that time, Payne has made numerous TV appearances and Hasbro — maker of the mask — created a personalized action figure of her likeness.

Now, Payne, a Grand Prairie resident, is using her considerable social media following to spread a message of love after five police officers were fatally shot by a gunman in Dallas ambush last week. The gunman was killed by police. Grand Prairie is about 30 minutes from Dallas.

In her new Facebook video, Payne, at her piano, sings Michael Jackson's "Heal the World." The video led to "Chewbacca Mom" once again making its way to the trending topics chart in the U.S. on Twitter.

"I really don't know what else to say expect I've been spreading joy, and I've been hoping to do that, but I find myself being silent the past couple of days because I've been so sad," Payne says to the camera. "I wanted to share with you my own arrangement of a song that I came across that has really meant something amazing to me."
