John Newman andCalvin Harris' rumor mill-grinding track "Ole" has dropped.

The song has been generating a lot of chatter on account of its lyrical content, its timing, and its writer. Various outlets downplay the connection, though the lyrics certainly are rich with drama.

"My heart speaks/I ain't seen you or been with you for weeks/But I see online that you've begun to be/A good girl and take trips with your boyfriend/Being attentive, continue to pretend," Newman sings.

Newman's debut album Tribute hit No. 1 in his native U.K. in 2013, and its followup Revolve reached No. 3. Newman and Harris teamed up on the song "Blame," which was released as a single in 2014 taken from Harris' fourth album, Motion. Stream "Ole" below.
