Christie Brinkley says she was 'forced' to hose down a woman's mess after she allegedly peed in the supermodel's yard
Christie Brinkley doesn't exactly believe in the phrase, "when you gotta go, you gotta go."
The 62-year-old supermodel took to Instagram on Monday, July 4, to respond to reports that she had an altercation with a woman who started urinating outside her Hamptons, New York home. "I know it's Independence Day but that does not mean 'free to pee' in front of my guests and me at my fireworks gathering," she wrote. "Maybe the trespasser should celebrate 'Depends Day' as she apparently thinks she lives in 'The Land of the Pee', as I was forced to hose down her mess after she urinated in my yard all the while throwing things at me."

Further defending her actions, Brinkley added, "My wish for everyone on this Fourth of July is, may you live in the Land of the Free from belligerent drunken stalkers with weak bladders and foul mouths. (That's not too much to ask, right?) Peace! I'll raise my glass of Bellissima Prosecco to that. Cheers Happy 4th to everyone!"

Erica Remkus told the New York Post's Page Six that she's the woman that Brinkley claimed peed in front of her Sag Harbor Cove beach house around 10 p.m. "'What are you doing?!'" Brinkley exclaimed, according to Remkus. 'You can't pee in front of my house! You have to go away. You're standing on my rocks. You can't pee on my rocks. I walk there!'"
Remkus said she responded, "These are not your rocks. This is not your beach. The beach is public property. You don't own it."

The 36-year-old woman claimed she had yet to urinate before Brinkley got out the hose. "I would not have peed if she didn't spray me," she said. "After that, I kind of had to."
ET reached out to Hamptons police regarding this alleged altercation.

Brinkley still managed to enjoy her Fourth of July, and later shared a photo of fireworks.
