The countdown is on for Miley Cyrus' debut as a coach on The Voice!
The 23-year-old singer will make her first appearance on season 11 of NBC's singing competition series earlier than expected, and that's good news for Cyrus' fans.

Cyrus will make her anticipated premiere on Sunday, Aug. 19 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT in a special 30-minute first look at the season's blind auditions following the Closing Ceremony of the Rio Olympics.

In the preview, NBC will introduce Cyrus and fellow rookie coach Alicia Keys, who will sit in the red chairs alongside longtime vets Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
Additionally, America Ferrera's charming comedy Superstore will air a brand new episode during the Olympics, on Friday, Aug. 19 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, ahead of its fall premiere. Fingers crossed, a few more viewers will fall in love with the Cloud 9 crew!

Ferrera, 32, recently opened up to ET about the starring in the half-hour sitcom, which centers on a group of employees at a big box store, admitting, "It was a little outside my comfort zone."
"I was taken by this world and [creator] Justin [Spitzer]'s writing and the possibilities we had to explore these everyday working-class people in a very familiar setting," Ferrera said. "It was exciting to give life and dimension to characters that could very easily be written off as stereotypical, non-consequential people."
The Voice premieres on Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Superstore returns on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
