If you didn't have people dancing to Beyoncé's "Formation" as you made your prom debut, did you even go to prom?

It seems as though in the past couple years, asking someone to prom, arriving at prom, and even making your prom dress debuted has seriously became events within themselves. And that was exactly the cast for one Azja Frazier.

Frazier hired Floyd Wimberly, a professional dancer, to help hype her crowd before she revealed her prom look, and let's just say, it most definitely worked. Wimblery was then joined by yet another backup dancer, for which they both slayed Beyoncé's hit, "Formation."

Pretty incredible, right? The video has over 3.4 million views and we totally see why. Frazier caught up with BuzzFeed where she revealed the reasoning behind the reveal.

"I wanted something to entertain my guests while they were waiting on me to come out. Also, I loved the song and I felt like it was a moment when I slayed...I feel like it was my day to shine."

It was 100% your day to shine, and shine and slay you did.
