2016 BET Award red carpet arrivals sizzle with scandalous styles

The stars were sizzling at the 2016 BET Awards.

The biggest names in entertainment made their way down the red carpet at the 2016 BET Awards on Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles -- and the fashion vibe was hot, hot, hot!

Dozens of A-list entertainers from Gabrielle Union to DJ Khaled to the cast of "Empire" stopped by the red carpet and the ladies definitely made sure they were center stage in a series of daring and risque dresses. Plunging necklines, thigh-high slits and lingerie-inspired dresses dominated the red carpet this year.

The first star to take the plunge was actress Meagan Good, who looked stunning in an emerald green dress with a double-dose of sexiness with a daring slit and a plunging neckline. Gabrielle Union also turned heads as she debuted a brand new hairdo of long braids and looked lovely in a one-shoulder dress with a sexy slit.

Bright dresses were also a hot trend for the evening with stars like Mya and Andra Day opting for show-stopping colors like tangerine and bright yellow.

The gents didn't disappoint, either. "Empire" hunk Bryshere Gray was our favorite dapper gent in a slick, white dinner jacket and tuxedo pants. Anthony Anderson also out on a strong showing in a tuxedo.
