Country star Jana Kramer has a message for mommy shamers everywhere -- "back off!"

The 32-year-old mother and her husband Mike Caussin welcomed daughter Jolie Rae into the world this past January and they have shared photos and videos of the little tyke on Instagram ever since.

However, she wasn't prepared for reaction she would get after the posted a seemingly innocent picture of baby food jars on a supermarket conveyor belt on Instagram. The photo quickly garnered the attention of critics who advised her to make her own baby food.

One user wrote: "Make your own. It's cheaper and way healthier ;)"

"Make your own it'll save money and it's better for her," said another.

The former "One Tree Hill" star responded to the haters with another Instagram post that speaks for itself.

"If you have negative comments about how I parent my child, keep it to yourself," Kramer captioned the snapshot.

But she confessed her initial reaction was not as nice ...

"At the time I wanted to write something a little nastier. In my head I wanted to be like, "Okay, screw off" -- but I knew that wasn't the way to do it," the songstress told AOL.com in an exclusive interview.

"People write negative stuff on my Instagram and Twitter all the time but when it's attacking me as a mother and my daughter -- that hits so much harder," she confessed.

But the country star isn't the first celebrity mom to spark backlash over how they parent their kids. Hilary Duff recently caused controversy over a picture she posted on Instagram of a casual outfit she wore to drop her son off at school.

While Kramer has come to terms with the realities of being a mother in the public eye, she wants everyone to know she won't stand for all the negativity:

"We're all going to raise our children differently. Moms need all the help we can get and I just wish that we would all work together and not against each other."

Well said, Jana!
