Airplane flying over New York City displays stark anti-Trump message

Donald Trump officially became the 45th president of the United States today.

But while Washington, D.C., is bustling with Inauguration Day celebrations, other parts of the country seem to be singing a different tune.

A photo shared on Friday by Twitter user Eric Grant shows a small plane flying over the Hudson River in New York, New York, dragging behind it a sign displaying a rallying cry for Trump opponents.

"We outnumber him," the banner reads. "Resist"

Although it isn't yet clear who's responsible for the sign, judging by this running list of protests set to take place throughout the week and over inauguration weekend, they aren't alone in their sentiments.
