Abigail Breslin defends her friend Tiffany Trump
After Abigail Breslin posted a photo of herself with friends, including Tiffany Trump, at pal Andrew Warren'sbirthday party on Instagram, the actress received backlash from anti-Trump commenters. In response, the actress wrote a note, which she posted to Instagram yesterday.
"To everyone who's being horrible and disgusting to me rn, I didn't vote for [T]rump," she wrote. "It's none of anyone's business, but I didn't. However, it is honestly disgusting of people to be so cruel about [T]iff who is a wonderful and kind person. If you're judging me for hanging out with someone I've known for years at a friend's bday party, you need to reevaluate your life."
Breslin, a New York City native, is close friends with Warren, who is the grandson of designer David Warren. In December 2015, New York magazine noted that Warren—the "self-proclaimed Kris Jenner" of his clique—is part of a close circle of New York–raised kids including Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s daughter Kyra Kennedy, Reya Benitez, who is the daughter of D.J. and music producer John "Jellybean" Benitez, and Gaia Matisse, the great-great-granddaughter of Henri Matisse.

Tiffany Trump, who grew up in L.A. with her mother, Marla Maples, is also part of the group, which The New York Timesreferred to as "the Snap Pack"—in reference to their devotion to Snapchat and Instagram—in April 2016. The newspaper noted that the friends have all given each other nicknames (for example, Matisse is "Koala" and Kennedy is "Hester").

After posting her Instagram letter, the actress followed up with a couple of tweets on her friend Tiffany's behalf:
"ALRIGHT everyone commenting mean shit on my insta, I have known Tiff for years. She's a beautiful soul, and regardless of political views, do not take it out on her it is completely unfair."
