Michael Moore to team up with Alec Baldwin and Mark Ruffalo for Donald Trump protest

Michael Moore revealed on Twitter on Saturday that he's teaming up with fellow actors Mark Ruffalo and Alec Baldwin to protest president-elect Donald Trump.

"Mark Ruffalo, Alec Baldwin & myself will be holding a massive rally in NYC in front of Trump International Hotel this Thursday, 6pm! Come," he tweeted.

Later in the weekend, NBC News revealed that Mayor of New York Bill de Blasio, actress Rosie Perez and the Rev. Al Sharpton would also be joining in for the event.

Moore has been an outspoken critic of Trump ever since he announced he was running for president, as have Ruffalo and Baldwin.

"We are sending a message to Washington that we will fight, as every step, discrimination and harmful policies, today, tomorrow and every day," Ruffalo said in a statement to NBC News. "[We're] coming together to stand up for one another, as we will do every day, to protect the values we hold dear."

The news came the same weekend that Baldwin reprised his Trump impression on the midseason premiere of "Saturday Night Live," in which he addressed the "golden shower" leaks, among other recent Trump scandals.
