Fox frozen in a block of ice after falling in river
In a beautiful yet tragic display of nature, a fox became an accidental sculpture after drowning in a river.
A hunter in southwest Germany named Franz Stehle came across the fox last December. He told German news outlet Bild that he saw the fox in a frozen river and cut it out. He could not help but photograph the makeshift sculpture afterwards. Elliot Wagland, photo editor at Huffington Post UK, tweeted the photo:

Stehle said he has stumbled upon frozen deer and boar before, too. The Independent reports that extreme weather has swept Baden-Württemberg, the area of Germany the fox was found. Over 60 people have passed away due to the wintery weather.
