Her story went viral after her original owners ditched Zuzu because she was too depressed and they wanted a happier new dog.

But since her story got out, the future has been bright for Zuzu.

"We had so many inquiries about her," Diana Edwards, who volunteers with Pet Adoption Fund, told Inside Edition.

Zuzu has now been adopted by Russ and Judith Gallo. The couple already has a dog named Dodger and was looking for a new buddy after their other pet passed away.

"Wagging tails, that's a good sign!" Diana Edwards, who volunteers with Pet Adoption Fund, told Inside Edition. "We think we found the perfect match here!"

The owners say they knew they were meant to be with Zuzu after watching the viral video.
