Megyn Kelly says goodbye on 'The Kelly File': 'I am better for having been here'
"I'll see you again soon," Megyn Kelly promised in her signoff from The Kelly File on Friday night.
It was the final episode of her Fox News show before she moves to NBC, which was announced on Tuesday.
Kelly's upcoming role on NBC will see her move to daytime, as well as a primetime slot on Sunday for an evening newsmagazine. In her new deal, the anchor also will have a role in the network's breaking news coverage.
Kelly's final day on The Kelly File was Friday, and she concluded with a message to her viewers.

"Night after night, you have welcomed us in your homes for some of the biggest moments of recent history," she said in her signoff. "We have tried to live up to the honor of being there. I am sincerely grateful for your trust, your patience and your good humor over the years, which is one of the reasons why saying goodbye is so hard."
She continued, "The truth is, I'm lucky to have been doing a job whose ending is bittersweet, and I leave you knowing I am better for having been here. I hope you feel the same. Thank you for everything, and I'll see you again soon."
