Report: Ivanka Trump will be living in same neighborhood as the Obamas

Several weeks ago, reports had surfaced that Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner were looking for real estate in Washington, D.C. Both are expected to serve the incoming administration in some capacity.

Now the Washingtonian is reporting they have at least decided on a home in D.C. While it's unknown if it'll be a rental or purchase, the media outlet reports that the house is in the luxury Kalorama neighborhood according to its sources and Washington Fine Properties, the company that represented Trump confirmed the transaction.

WUSA reports, "The realtor...described the home as a six-bedroom, single-family home. The home sold on Dec. 22 for a little more than $5 million."

Interestingly, their new reported address is mere blocks from where Obamas will be living after leaving the White House.

Donald and Melania Trump are delaying their son Barron's move to the capital, according to the Washington Post. Both Melania and the 10-year-old boy will reportedly be staying in New York until the school year is over.
