Great-grandmother accidentally prays to 'Lord of the Rings' figurine

Some people pray using figures of saints ... but in one great-grandmother's case, she's been praying to something very, very different.

Brazilian make-up artist and Facebook user Gabriela Brandão shared photos of the innocent mistake:

"My daughter's great-grandmother prays to this figure of Saint Anthony every day," she said, "but looking more closely ..."

Brandão looked up the figurine and saw that it looked exactly like one of Elrond, an elf from The Lord of the Rings franchise. She found it on eBay.

The funny mishap went viral, getting thousands of likes and retweets.
