Chrissy Teigen reveals mortifying airplane gaffe

Updated

Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter on Friday to share the story of an embarrassing thing that happened to her on an airplane.

The ever-relatable star was minding her own business on a flight when she noticed that a man in a neighboring seat was watching, what she called, "one of the worst films" she had seen in 2016.

So she told him that.

And let's just say that it didn't go over too well.

"He said his niece is the lead [actress in the film]," she revealed.

The tweet was immediately retweeted more than a thousand times, with people begging her to reveal which movie (and actress) she was talking about. Unfortunately for us, Teigen refused to reveal the identity of the star in question.

"I refuse to say who," she continued. "I am dead."

As more and more people asked her to give them a hint, Teigen gave in just a little bit. "Literally the worst movie I have ever seen and it came out this year. Good cast," she hinted. "That's all I will reveal."

Judging by the responses so far, the leading candidates are "Mother's Day" (starring Julia Roberts and Chloe Grace Moretz) and "Suicide Squad" (starring Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne), two films with all-star casts that weren't critically well-received.

What movie do you think she was talking about?
