Most searched for holiday cookies revealed

As the holidays approach and people get into the baking spirit, you might want to know which cookie is the most searched for on Google in your state. Here are some of the favorites.

As you can see, the most popular cookie that is searched for on Google is the classic Oatmeal cookie. The old-time favorite is the most searched for cookie in 25 states.

Pumpkin cookies are the second most Googled cookie in 11 states, and gingerbread and molasses cookies had strong showings as well.

Almond Joy Cookies are popular in a few states; the combination of coconut and chocolate in a cookie is delicious.

But three states stood out from the crowd: people who live in Kansas love snickerdoodles, Delaware has searched for apple pie cookies, and snowballs are the most popular in Nebraska.
