Pastor tells children that Santa isn't real at a mall and parents become furious

We were probably devastated as children when someone accidentally let it slip that Santa isn't real -- but one pastor in Texas wanted to break the news on purpose.

Last Frontier Evangelism preacher Dave Grisham filmed himself going up to a group of children and their parents waiting to see Santa. He then went on a tirade to tell them that Christmas is about Jesus Christ and that Santa isn't real.

He shared the video on Facebook, but subsequently deleted it. Another person uploaded to YouTube:

"Kids, I want to tell you today that there is no such thing as Santa Claus," he said. "The man you're going to see today is just a man in a suit, dressed up like Santa, but Santa does not exist."

He then chastised parents for perpetuating the Santa "lie." And parents you all need to stop lying to your children and telling them that Santa Claus is real when in fact he's not.

Parents were not happy about Grisham's proclamations. They came up to him to tell him to stop and that he's ruining their experience.

Grisham's video went viral on social media, getting over two million views.

The Westgate Mall in Amarillo, where Grisham filmed, issued a statement to the Huffington Post: "We want everyone at our shopping center to have an enjoyable experience. All of the shoppers are expected to follow our code of conduct and will be asked to leave our premises if they don't follow these rules."
