Old Dominion brings their 'Meat and Candy' tour to Los Angeles

It's been over a year since Old Dominion rose to the top of the charts with their debut album, "Meat and Candy" but that hasn't stopped the band from taking over the country scene -- or crowds -- and AOL was there to catch all the excitement during their Stagecoach Spotlight tour stop in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The five man band got the crowd moving and singing along to their hit tracks such as "Song For Another Time," the ultra-catchy "Snapback" and some old favorites like "Dirt on a Road." New fans were surprised when the band disclosed they had written Dierk Bentley's hit track "Riser," which is also the name of the album Bentley rose to the top of the charts with.

Old Dominion continued to cover hit songs they've written for other top country artists such as Blake Shelton's "Sangria," Kenny Chesney's "Save It For A Rainy Day," and The Band Perry's "Chainsaw."

During their concert, lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey revealed the band has been recording a new album and surprised the audience with a new track "Not Everything is About You." The song reflects a lot of the band's style with a hint of pop-rock vibes and a lot of guitar.

As one of the hottest bands in country, Old Dominion's music might surprise you. The band's style often overlaps into other genres such as rock and R&B. They're a part of a new wave of country that's taking over the charts with other artists like Sam Hunt (in which they've collaborated with and written the ballad "Make You Miss Me" for him) with half-spoken seductive verses and piano melodies, like their Billboard Top 10 hit, "Break Up With Him."

And Old Dominion's debut album, "Meat and Candy" showcases just that. A little bit of ear candy and a whole lot of meat. But one thing is for sure, Old Dominion is here to stay -- and we can't wait to see where the band heads next.
