Madonna takes not-so-subtle jabs at Donald Trump during charity event

Madonna repeatedly expressed her disapproval of President-elect Donald Trump during a fundraising event in Miami on Friday.

The Associated Press reports that at one point during her hour-long show, she revealed that she had been in his bed for a photoshoot but went on to criticize his sheets, saying, "They won't be Egyptian cotton because we all know how he feels about Muslims don't we." She did clarify that Trump wasn't there during the shoot.

A video posted to YouTube also shows her singing a cover of Britney Spears' song "Toxic," and during the song, there are images of Trump and people protesting his election playing on a screen behind her.

The display eventually features different quotes by Trump where he talks about building a wall, being wealthy, and taking credit for breaking the glass ceiling for women.

Madonna openly supported Hillary Clinton during the presidential election, even performing in New York City at what the singer called "a surprise, impromptu rally."

The more recent event, which benefited her charity Raising Malawi, is said to have raised $7.5 million.
